Imagining Ireland Short-term Study Abroad
The Irish Studies program offers “Imagining Ireland,” a biennial short-term faculty-led study abroad program to Ireland that takes place between spring finals and the start of summer classes. Over the course of two weeks, students travel to several different regions of Ireland, all the while earning 3 credits. Semester or Year-long Exchange in Limerick
UNM students also have the opportunity to study abroad for a semester or an academic year at Mary Immaculate College in Limerick, Ireland. Founded in 1898, MIC is Ireland’s leading university-level College of Education and Liberal Arts. The College has a growing and diverse community of over 3,000 students enrolled in undergraduate programmes in Education, Liberal Arts, Early Childhood Care and Education, and Theatre Studies, as well as a range of postgraduate programmes at Diploma, MA and PhD levels.
